Choral Repertoire by Women Composers - Book Publication

Congratulations to Prof. Emerita Hilary Apfelstadt (Conducting) and Alan Troy Davis for the publication of their work, Choral Repertoire by Women Composers. 

From the description of the publication: “In recent years, the choral profession has become especially mindful of recognizing a broad spectrum of composers, but scholarly materials have not kept pace. In fact, a survey of the available academic writings on choral music reveals a startling lack of information about women composers.” 

Hilary and Alan also presented on this book on March 22nd at the National ACDA conference, Dallas, TX in an interest session presentation on the book called "In Her Voice: Spotlighting Female Choral Composers."
