Music Technology MT&DM Alumni Win Gold & Silver @ Audio Engineering Society 2024

Congratulations to Joshua Weinfeld and Piotr Majer on their success in the 2024 Audio Engineering Society's Student Recording Competition. The convention was held in New York at the Javits Center, with both Joshua and Piotr present to accept their awards. 
 

Joshua Weinfeld won the Gold Award in the Traditional Studio Recording category for his composition and production Twist for percussion ensemble and electronics. Twist was created as part of Weinfeld’s capstone Major Project during his Music Technology & Digital Media program studies at the University of Toronto.

Piotr Majer (artist name Moneõ, collaborating with Joshua Weinfeld) won the Silver Award in the Modern Studio Recording category for his electronic work Curves. Majer and Weinfeld established an ongoing collaboration while studying in the MT&DM program and we look forward to their future productions released under the name VXRIABLE.
