Biography
Ilinca Stafie is a dedicated French horn player, educator, and arts administrator based in Toronto, Canada. She has performed with esteemed ensembles such as the National Academy Orchestra and the University of Toronto Symphony Orchestra. A passionate advocate for community engagement through the arts, Ilinca believes in the transformative power of music both within and beyond the concert hall.
Ilinca is a founding member of Trash Panda Brass, an all-queer brass band that celebrates inclusivity by creating music that fosters safe spaces for everyone. Her commitment to diversity and community extends to her role as the booking manager at Drom Taberna, one of Toronto's most vibrant and diverse music venues.
Excited to return to the academic environment that shaped her, Ilinca brings a wealth of experience from her work as a freelance pop musician and community-focused music administrator. She continues to contribute to the music scene with her deep understanding of the industry and her passion for creating meaningful connections through music.
