Biography
Karen divides her time between the upstairs circulation desk of the Music Library and the downstairs Performance Collection. In the afternoons she can be found in the Performance Collection, a division of the library that deals exclusively with the performance scores for our major ensembles. Working closely with all of our conductors, Karen manages the purchases (or rentals), processing, and circulation of all concert repertoires for two symphonic bands, two orchestras, four choirs and the jazz ensembles. As ensemble librarian she maintains five types of performance music that are available for loan from this collection: choral, band, orchestral, jazz, and music education.
An alumnus of the University of Toronto for both of her degrees, Karen has been working at the Faculty of Music since 1991.
