Miriam Nisonen Oliver

Biography

Miriam is a Master’s student in Musicology and Jewish Studies at the university of Toronto. She is currently researching the intersections of collective memory and national narratives within Israeli and Jewish society, as they function within Israeli opera of the late 20th and early 21st centuries. In 2022 she received her Bachelor of Music in Voice Performance and Italian studies from Wilfrid Laurier University.
