The Master of Music in Piano Pedagogy is a two-year, course-intensive degree in piano performance and pedagogy. Students study music history, music theory, piano repertoire, and piano pedagogy while refining their musical skills through personalized studio lessons and piano masterclasses.

Core Courses
The program’s core consists of piano pedagogy seminars and practica that develop teaching skills from beginner to advanced levels. Individual weekly piano instruction supports the preparation for two recitals candidates must perform during their program. Students also study critical approaches to music history, music analysis, and historical performance.
Electives
The Music Faculty provides an approved list of electives from which students choose the equivalent of one full-year course.
